Our History

Everything started in 2008 by the reunion of several clinicians, investigators and professors, in order to share knowledge in the fields of Surgery, Periodontology Implantology and Oral Rehabilitation among themselves and with other professionals. This group of colleagues and friends, met initially once a month. Since September 2013, with the name of “ Núcleo CIRO”, a non-profit association, the members gathered every week and have been acquiring more elements from all over the world, that identify with the “Núcleo CIRO” philosophy. Although it started with the objective of sharing and discussing clinical cases, it was also dedicated to the creation of scientific work. Only recently, we felt the need to share knowledge in an organized way. In this way, after 2 years of work in addition to all the other years in Learning, Treating, Creating, Investigating and Teaching, SPI Research Centre was born as
one of our greatest pride.
